Experimental Newspaper Publication
Developed from three randomly assigned concepts — gravity, accumulation, and trash — the project explores the visual language of excess through the lens of American fast-food culture. Inspired by roadside diners, oversized portions, advertising clichés, and consumer overload, the publication embraces abundance as both a graphic system and a narrative device.
The art direction intentionally pushes every element to the extreme. Layers of imagery, saturated compositions, visual repetition, and oversized typography create a sense of accumulation designed to overwhelm the reader.
Presented in a newspaper format, Yum Yum! transforms junk food into a visual playground while questioning our fascination with consumption, spectacle, and excess.
